“33 The Series” Volume 2:  A Man and His Story

(Authentic Manhood)

Facilitator:  Marc Scarbrough, meet in room 121

In the pursuit of authentic manhood, every man must understand and come to grips with the defining moments and key relationships that have shaped his unique “story.” Participants will explore their story through a Biblical perspective, be equipped to learn from their past, come alive in their present, and enjoy God’s best in the future.

Grace is Greater:  God’s Plan to Overcome Your Past, Redeem Your Pain, and Rewrite Your Story (Kyle Idleman, author)

Facilitator: Nancy Stewart, meet in room 112

We are saturated with a knowledge of grace. But when Jesus walked here on earth, He lived grace, sharing it through countless stories and real-life examples. This study was written to shake participants out of their comfort zone with grace and to again be amazed, shocked, and enthralled to experience Jesus’ radical way of living and forgiving. By hearing stories of lives transformed, learn to grasp God’s love in a fresh way and find new freedom and joy in life.

“The Bread of Life:  12 Stories from the Old and New Testaments”

Facilitator:  Pastor Steve West, meet in room 117

Explore the ‘bread of life’ through stories in the Bible that prefigure communion, stories like the manna that fed Moses and the Israelites as they wandered in the desert in their journey to the Promised Land.  There is no homework and anyone is welcome, anytime.

Multiply, Disciples Making Disciples (Frances Chan, author)

Facilitator:  Myles Teston, meet in room 125

In Matthew 28:19, Jesus gave the Great Commission to his followers: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” As members of His church – we are all tasked with making disciples; this is our God-given mission as His church. With the study of “Multiply,” there will be a focus on equipping members of THIS church to become/make disciples of Jesus Christ. Weekly meetings will consist of prayer, fellowship, scripture reading, and the study of “Multiply.”  Local mission opportunities will also be discussed and planned.

Seamless: Understanding The Bible As One Complete Story

(Angie Smith, author)

Facilitator:  Brooke Hemphill, meet in room 102

Seamless covers the people, places, and promises of the Bible, showing how the entire Bible – from Genesis through Revelation – connects as one beautiful, seamless thread.  In addition to the weekly gathering for Bible study, fellowship among the group’s members, exploration of ministries inside and outside the church, and mission outreach will be a part of this class’ dynamics.
