purpose of the meetings is to share the initial list of priorities gleaned from our survey results and get feedback from you about
what direction we are going. The material presented in each meeting is identical, so choose the time that is right for you. Every voice is important, so we need you to come!

Disciple I Bible Study will be offered this year, taught by Dr. Mary Holley. It will meet Wednesday nights 5:30 – 7:00 pm beginning after Pastor Steve’s course on Prayer. We will incorporate and practice some of the prayer techniques Pastor Steve teaches into this Bible Study. This course surveys both the Old and New Testaments including most of Genesis, much of Exodus, readings from Psalms, and sections of the historical books including the exile and the return from exile. The New Testament books studied include all of the Gospels, sections of Acts, Romans, Galatians, 1 and 2 Peter, Hebrews and Revelation. We will cap off the year with a 24 hour prayer retreat in May that will combine the last 2 lessons on Spiritual Gifts and Holy Communion with both silent and communal prayer in a restful retreat setting. (While the first actual class of Disciple I is September 16, those interested in taking Disciple I are asked to attend an introductory meeting in room 102 on August 12th immediately following the mission fair that evening.)
