Anthony Wilson

Our pastor has dubbed Anthony “Magic Fingers.” There’s a reason for that. He shares his gifts as pianist at Arab First UMC, and came on staff in October of 2001.

Anthony grew up in Union Grove, not far from Arab. He is a 1989 graduate of Arab High School. He and his wife, Patti, went to school together, though they “met again” later and started dating. They have been married 8 years now and have two wonderful children, Spencer (who is 5 and loves to bail hay) and Callie (who is 3 and loves to drink milk). During the weekday, Anthony is an engineer at the Missile Defense Agency at Redstone Arsenal

He and his family love being members of Arab First UMC. He said “I invite you to join us in fellowship here and let us all make a joyful noise!”

Anthony also says, “During my nearly 13 years as pianist, I have been greatly blessed serving at this church. The music staff constantly strives to provide music for all congregations to worship in their own way and be blessed through the gift of music.”

Did You Know …

Anthony loves to cook. His “Iron Chef” status is quite obvious when you see his email address or car tag. His specialty is homemade cheesecake. Yum. His family says he makes up new words all the time. That must be interesting.

If you are hungry for a slice of cheesecake, need a good sight reader, or want to talk about music ministry at Arab First UMC, call the church at 256-586-5792 or email him at pianist@arabumc.org.
