United Methodist Women
UMW is selling Arab First United Methodist Church note cards. The cards feature the beautiful stained glass window on the front of the card. Ten note cards are $10. These can be purchased at the hospitality desk or from one of the UMW members. This is a United Methodist Women fundraiser.

Serve Joyfully
Come be a part of the group that sings at Arab Assisted Living each Tuesday at 10:00. We sing from the Cokesbury Hymnal and no experience nor talent is required. All that is needed is a heart for Jesus.

Epiphany Ministry
Ken Beard, Sue Beard, and Joanie Reynolds are committed to participate in an Epiphany Ministry at VACCA (youth detention center) in Birmingham on March 1 – 3, 2012. We need your prayer support, donations for inmates’ meals, and commitment to pray for these incarcerated youth and the team. A prayer vigil sign-up sheet will be on the hospitality desk for the next four weeks for you to indicate when you will pray during this ministry. These names will be put on a prayer chain and combined with those from other churches participating in the Epiphany. The chain will be draped around and throughout the meeting room at the facility. Please prayerfully consider assisting us in the success of this important ministry to troubled youth.

Men’s Chili/Soup Cook-off
February 26th beginning at 5:00 pm
Bring your favorite chili/soup to share with everyone at a fellowship supper. Prizes will be awarded for the best chili and best soup. Those not wanting to participate in the cook-off can help by bringing cornbread, crackers, and desserts. Join us for this night of good food and Christ-like fellowship.

World Day of Prayer
March 2 is a day set aside to pray for this world and the situation it is in. We will have a prayer walk at church on March 2 starting at 6:00 pm. Please pray for this world...for God to heal and bring peace.
