About Us
Who Are We?
We are a body of believers committed to worshiping and serving Jesus Christ. As a United Methodist Church, we join with like-minded Christians in spreading the gospel around the world. Christ reached out to people of all ages and backgrounds and at Arab First we desire to do the same. That is why you will discover here ministries geared to various life stages and needs. We strive to have a place for everyone to study the Scriptures, fellowship together, and minister to others through numerous service opportunities. We want you to be a part of the blessings of God in the life of this congregation. We will bring you updates often on just what is happening here and share the stories of how Christ is making a difference in the lives of people. We hope this gives insight into just who we are. Whether you are brand new to Arab or have already become part of the congregation, we look forward to partnering with you in spiritual growth.
We are First United Methodist Church of Arab, Alabama. The membership is made up of more than 1,050 members. Primary gathering places for worship and study are our Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall, the Youth House and many class rooms.
