Out Reach Ministry

"MUGGING" ~ The purpose of this ministry is to show a welcoming "spirit" of delivering mugs to visitors

BREAD MINISTRY Those wishing to join the membership of our church are contacted by the Pastor. After joining, they are given a loaf of freshly baked bread, to once again receive a personal welcome. The loaf of bread symbolizes God's "breaking of the bread".

SERVE FEST Extending a cool bottle of water or soda to say, "God loves you and so do we" fulfills the purpose of this group. These bottles may be given at a Serve Fest at the City Park, Wal Mart, etc.

PRAYER GROUPS Covenant and Emmaus groups, these groups meet weekly.

MEN'S MINISTRY All men are invited and encouraged to be a part of the United Methodist Men's group. Meetings are the Second Sunday morning of each month in the Fellowship Hall prior to the 8am service.

SUPPORT GROUPS are Cancer Care, Divorce Care, Overcomer's Outreach (offered according to needs). Stephen Ministry

WOMEN'S MINISTRY With a membership of over 100+, the United Methodist Women's group centers on Missions, locally as well as around the world. The organization is open to all women, members or nonmembers. Other functions include hosting various church functions, meeting needs of the church family through a Care & Concern group as well as being involved with District and Conference activities. CONGREGATIONAL CARE Members of our congregation find ways to help the homebound. Transportation for doctor's visits, cancer treatments, constructing wheelchair ramps, are just some of the helpful ways to assist those in need. "Blessings received" are the rewards for time spent in this ministry.
