Property Purchase! – Thanks to the vision and generosity of the people of Arab First UMC, we have now completed the purchase of the half-acre lot on Main Street next to the Youth House. This is a strategic purchase, as it will be excellent property for future development. At a minimum it will be a nice buffer property in the eventuality that the youth house is removed and parking and/or a road is placed on that corner of our 12 acre campus.

The Trustees and Church Council voted to pursue this purchase, but the contract we had with the seller expired and the seller chose not to renew the contract. However, a donor emerged from within the church and made an arrangement with the seller to purchase the house next door, and allow the church to purchase the lot. This donor also gave the church the remainder of the funds needed to purchase it. We closed on the property on July 21st, and it is paid for. Thanks to everyone who donated funds toward this purchase!
