Refuel is on Wednesday nights throughout the summer! Each Wednesday we will have supper at 5:30 p.m. with activities following at 6 pm. We have planned many fun activities for all ages to attend, including a church wide picnic and swim party to kick off the summer on June 3rd! Other activities include Bibles and Brushes, A Bead and Prayer, Dinner and a Movie, Cooking with Christ, a Talent Show, and much more! This should be a great summer and we hope to see everyone!
The Young-in-Heart will have a Spring Retreat at Palisades Park (near Oneonta) May 21st from 10:00-1:00 in the Moss Lodge. The church van will take 15 and car pools can be arranged. Look for maps on the Hospitality Desk nearer the event. Lunch will be a catered Bar-B-Q paid for by your dues. Shirley Gullion will lead the group in an old fashioned Gospel Sing Along.
Camp Discovery VBS 2015 will be July 6-10 from 5:30-8:30. There will be a supper for those helping with and attending VBS each night from 5:00-5:20. We need LOTS of volunteers. Examples of the volunteers we still need are: Snack Leader, Bible Challenge Leader, Preschool Leaders, Guides for all age groups and extra helpers for Preschool. If you would like to help, please email Jennifer at firstname.lastname@example.org. VBS is for children who are 3 years old up through those entering 5th grade. If you have a 2 year old that you would like to bring, you can do so only if a parent or adult stays with them and helps them with the activities. All other older youth may assist with activities as well.
Thank you for your generous support of Relay for Life 2015! $744 was raised at the yard sale held on April 25, a successful event that would not have happened without the many donations. All funds help support the American Cancer Society and the fight against cancer.
