Young-in-Heart will be held April 16th at 10:00 am in the Fellowship Hall. Brandi Mason, a speaker from the “Home Instead” program for seniors, will speak on “Cooking under Pressure.” Lunch will feature some dishes containing foods that seniors should include in their diets. (We need volunteers to cook the dishes, recipes are available.)

Calling ALL Young Adults! Please join us on April 26th at 12:00 pm (immediately following the last service) for a luncheon and a meet-and-greet. This is a great opportunity to get to know each other and make connections with old and new friends! The ultimate goal of this luncheon is to create a group of young adults that will meet several times throughout the year for fun and fellowship! We would like to plan many different social events for everyone to have the opportunity to attend, kids included! Examples of these events are dinners, movies, bowling, rafting/canoeing trips, hikes, bike rides, volunteering, missions, etc. The intention for this luncheon is to brainstorm, share ideas, and plan for these events. We will have child care available for kids of all ages during the planning discussion if you would like to take advantage of that. We’re very excited about this opportunity to come together as Christians in fellowship. We hope that you can attend! For questions or more information, please contact Brooke Hemphill at (256)640-3292 or Dawn Liebner at (256)586-5792.

“Cookies for Christ” Outreach Event has be delayed, please watch for more information coming soon.

The youth mission trip this year will be to Camp Sumatanga. We will be going June 7-12. We also are going to the Wesley Groups at some of the universities with the senior high to help get the Wesley Fellowship buildings ready for the school year. We will be painting, cleaning, landscaping, etc. We have envelopes on the welcome desk that are numbered 1-150. We ask that you donate in the amount of the envelope you chose.
