2015 A Year of Prayer
This week’s prayer focus: Our Confirmation Class

Communion is served in the Prayer Chapel each Sunday morning between services (9:00 – 9:15) and (10:30 – 10:45).

Wednesday Night Meal at 5:00 pm
Cost $5 adults, and $3 for children
January 14th Loaded Baked Potato with grilled chicken and salad.

A New Sunday Morning Study begins today in the Thirsty Class (room 125) at 10:50 am. Adults of all ages are welcome. The book donation is $3.00. “What On Earth Am I Here For?” is a DVD and book study based on Rick Warren’s popular A Purpose-Driven Life. The Young in Heart will meet January 15 at 10:00 A.M. in the fellowship hall. Roy Bryant will present a program on Living Wills. We’ll also make plans for YIH 2015 meetings. Brunch will be served at 10:00 am. Dues of $15 per person for the year are payable in January. Sign up at the Hospitality Desk if you plan to attend and indicate if you will be willing to help provide something for the brunch.

United Methodist Men’s annual chili/vegetable soup luncheon will be on Sunday, January 25th. We will start serving at 10:30 and wrap up by around 1:00. Lunch will include soup/chili, cornbread/crackers, dessert and a drink. The cost is $8. We look forward to this annual event and are hoping for a large turn-out. All proceeds go to the scholarship fund, Fellowship Christian Athletes, & Room in the Inn.
