Chancel Choir and Orchestra will be performing “The Christmas Story: A Classic Carol Celebration,” today at 10:55 am and Monday, December 22nd at 7:00 pm.
Christmas Eve Communion will be at Noon, 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Please invite family, friends, and strangers to join with you for this special time of worship. The noon service will be “come and go”, 4:00 pm will be a contemporary service, and 7:00 pm will be a traditional service.

Donut ServeFest: On the morning of December 24th we will once again be delivering donuts to our local businesses and public servants that will be serving our community. Due to our awesome members, our delivery teams are full. But if you have any suggestions for a business that we can deliver to please contact Terry Z (256-486-5183).
A Christmas Day Pot Luck Dinner will be on December 25th in the AFUMC Fellowship Hall. Are you alone this Christmas, an empty nester, not up to preparing a whole dinner, or full of the Christmas spirit but have no one to share it with? Come join us on Christmas Day to celebrate the birth of our Savior. Turkey, dressing and beverages will be provided. You bring the side dishes and desserts. Come early to enjoy traditional holiday movies starting at 12:30 pm. Dinner will be served at 3:00 pm and everyone is invited. For more information, call Jim Saunders at 256-200-6184.
The Christmas Eve Offering will go to support missions in Arab and around the world. The offering will go to Blessings in a Backpack, Imagine No Malaria, and the White Christmas Offering which supports the United Methodist Children’s Home.
Room in the Inn volunteers are needed for the following dates:

Set Up Crew, Van/Bus Driver, Overnight Host, Food Crew, and

Guntersville First United Methodist Church is looking for volunteers to help with the day program of Room In the Inn. They need assistance in such areas as mentoring and transportation. If interested, please call (256) 506-4296.
Poinsettias: The youth wish to thank all those that purchased poinsettias in memory or in honor of a loved one. The poinsettias truly add Christmas beauty to the sanctuary. Please remember to take your poinsettia after the Christmas Eve Service that you attend.
End of the Year Contributions: All contributions received after 12/31/14 will be posted to your 2015 giving statement. If you are making designated gifts remember to mark those clearly on your check. Thank you for your faithfulness in giving.
