“Visions & Dreams” Prayer Vigil – During the series, there will be a continual prayer vigil in the prayer room. The candle will be “lit” and “Dream Cards” may be prayed over. Please come by for a few minutes each week.
Communion is served in the Prayer Chapel each Sunday morning between services from 9:00 – 9:15 and from 10:30 – 10:45.

Arab Elementary School invites you to join them for a Veterans Day Program and reception in honor of all Veterans. The program will be Monday, November 10th, at 9:00 am in the Arab Elementary School gym. They hope to see you there so that they can personally thank you for your service to our country.
Arab Post 6226 Veterans of Foreign Wars will hold a Veterans Day service, 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 11th at the Arab City Park on Shoal Creek Trail, NE, Arab, AL. Colonel Danny Hughes will be the guest speaker. Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops will be taking part in this program.
Children’s Choir (2nd – 5th grade) will have a pizza party on Friday, November 14th, 5:30 – 8:00 pm (vocal/bells/puppets/God rods) in the fellowship hall. Please make every effort to be present. We will be creating our floats, blocking, and working on our parts for the Christmas program.

Advent Study beginning November 16th in Thirsty class! Using “The Journey” by Adam Hamilton, we will seek a deeper appreciation of the places and events leading up to Jesus’ birth. Adults of all ages are encouraged to come, and childcare is available. Book donation requested is $10. Class will be downstairs in Room 120 (Hope / Loops of Love / Thirsty room) after Contemporary Service. Room opens at 10:55 AM. Youth Parent Meeting on Sunday, November 16th at 4:30 pm in the Sanctuary. All parents of youth in grades 6th – 12th are invited to attend to discuss activities of the youth. This is a great time to get the youth involved in the ministry of the youth.
The Young-in-Heart will have their traditional Thanksgiving covered dish meal on Thursday, November 20th, 10:00 am in the fellowship hall. Please make reservations at the Hospitality desk and indicate what you will be bringing. Our own pastor, Steve West will present the program on “The History of Song in Methodism.”
